MacKerricher State Park
This state park is located 3 miles north of Fort Bragg, CA. It is the only park that was once part of the Mendocino Indian Reservation. It can accommodate RV’s up to 35′. The park covers 9 miles of coastline which includes beaches, dunes, headlands and tide pools. The campground has modern restrooms and hot showers, which is a plus! Each campsite has a firepit, table and grill. The park is pet friendly but dogs must be kept on a leash. Unfortunately, dogs are not allowed on park trails but there are several leash-free beaches nearby. Reservations can be made through ReserveCalifornia.com.
